Life has its way of guiding us through unexpected paths, and in each twist and turn, we discover new layers of ourselves. Growing up in the rolling hills and majestic mountains of Nepal, surrounded by towering mountains and the warmth of family, I never imagined that my journey would take me so far from home. I grew up with two sisters in a home where love, laughter, and treasured memories. Yet, every step I have taken, both in Nepal and beyond, has been shaped by the same values: love, resilience, and the strength of family.
My husband and I have created a life grounded in love, trust, and a shared vision for the future. As both of us are in academia, our days are often filled with engaging intellectual conversations where we challenge and inspire each other. But it’s not all work, our Friday nights and weekends are reserved for fun family time with the kids, filled with laughter, games, and unforgettable moments.
I am pursuing my PhD, and my husband has been my unwavering support in this journey. His belief in me has sometimes been stronger than mine, and his endless encouragement has carried me through.
I find joy and renewal in travelling with close friends, exploring new places, creating memories, and drawing energy from shared experiences. These moments remind me of the importance of finding balance and celebrating life amidst hard work.
This is my birthplace, beautiful Palpa, Nepal. Mountains and air, I still feel them carrying memories of my childhood carefree days, the cool breeze, and the towering peaks watching over me.
