What we did in summer 2020, the year when whole world was in pause mode because of the pandemic

Beginning of 2020 was not pleasant for all of us, COVID-19 really tested our patience and forced us to be inside our home for many months. Though travelling and meeting people was not the possible option, I believe we must have discovered the other means to entertain us. We got the chance to re-bond with our old friends and relatives through internet. I was so happy to have virtual meeting with my college friends with whom I was not able to communicate since long.

I don’t say I am a good cook, but I love making typical Nepalese food and last summer we tried to make some typical Nepalese tomato pickle which could be stored for many months and we could also gift some of those to our friends.

After the lockdown was made a bit flexible for some months, some friends visited us for few days. The best possible things we could do together was make some Sushi.

Living in Jena has some advantages, like we get to pick some fruits in wild like Pears, cherries and walnuts.

July is the favorite month of the year, you know why? Because it’s my birth month. My friends good friends of our visited us with some lovely gestures.

In the month of August we made a short trip to visit our friends in Ammersee lake, a tourist destination close to Munich.

A normal summer day when we were strolling around the park in Jena with our friend, we saw hope and the hope is the thing what we need in such a difficult time. Ending this post with this quote ” Hope is being able to see that there is light despite all of the darkness.”- Desmond Tutu
