Acknowledging the dark aspects of life

I am mostly talking about the positive aspects of life and have learnt that the more you think positive, better things show up in life. There is a saying , we attract what we think, and it is always helpful to see the good in all things. But I have learnt that negative aspects or experiences are also there to teach us lessons. So in every negative incidents we have something to learn from. Every negative incidents that has happened even our mistakes has lessens to offer, it is up to us how wisely we take it.

I would like to mention a quote here, which says “We all make mistakes, have struggles, and even regret things in our past. But you are not your mistakes, you are not your struggles, and you are here NOW with the power to shape your day and your future.” ― Steve Maraboli.

It is important to forgive ourselves and also others if they have mistaken by any means.

While talking about the other dark aspects of life, the thing comes into my mind is failure in some attempts.Failing an exam for the first time, makes us aware of the reasons of failure and then the next attempt is easier in order to pass that same exam. If you failed in something, I want you to remember a quote

“You may encounter many defeats, but you must not be defeated. In fact, it may be necessary to encounter the defeats, so you can know who you are, what you can rise from, how you can still come out of it.” ― Maya Angelou

There is beauty even in the negative aspects of life for example failure helps us make an even better effort, mistakes make us more experienced, depression makes us approach life in a different way focusing on being happier than before, diseases gives us the importance of healthy life, poverty makes us more hard working and determined, unfulfilled dreams makes us strive hard to achieve those. So there are many ways to see the negative aspects of life and learn from them to add values in our lives. It brings us unhappiness in the beginning but at the end it adds value and wisdom in our lives.
