We, humans, are capable of rational thinking and behaving in a civilized way. We try to be and show us to be the best version of ourselves in the most possible ways. But it is also the reality that we are not perfect. We make mistakes, we sometimes betray ourselves and even to our loved ones, we hurt ourselves and others knowingly and sometimes unknowingly. But it is okay as we are humans and we do make mistakes. We should learn to accept our dark side, we fail, we face diseases, we suffer from relationship disagreement. And also most of the time we regret not following our passion just in the form of hobby or creating that dream life career. But on all these, we are learning and we are becoming the best version of ourselves. There would be no importance of light if there was no darkness. We should accept the darkness inside of us. The darkness sometimes may exist in the form of fear, greed, jealousy, dishonesty or many more. By accepting all the darkness, we should learn to focus more on the light part of being human-like kindness, happiness compassion, inspiration, motivation, forgiveness to ourselves and others and many more other lights that we can think of. In the process of learning about living life with no regrets, I have realized that living a happy life needs us to leave our regrets behind and pursue positive aspirations. I have many regrets in my life like I should have been more serious about my career, or sometimes even I think I should have been kind to someone in some situation. I should have been more conscious about my health routine, or sometimes I should not have said some bitter words to my loved one. But if we focus more on regrets we will be living less, so by accepting what has already been said and done and being sad about it, I focus more on the betterment of my present situation career-wise, health-wise, quality relationship with myself as well with others and become more conscious about my present positive mindset.
We all have regrets, that can keep hunting us or maybe sometimes we regret not doing what our heart desires for. But I would encourage you to focus on living life without any regrets. Do you have any kind of regrets that bothers you? Think of it and if you wish to share it with us and also about how would you focus on living life without regrets either by following your dream or by focusing to make things better in the future. I would like to end this post by sharing a quote “Let’s not burden our remembrance with a heaviness that’s gone.” -Shakespeare
